Become Rockland Farmers Market Vendor
Now accepting applications for 2017. The deadline for new applications is February, prior to our second business meeting of the year on the third Thursday of the month. New applicants are required to attend the meeting and make a presentation of products.
The market is seeking to expand its product range and is looking for additional vendors of small fruit, perennials, flowering baskets, mushrooms, prepared foods. Limited farm-related crafts are allowed, as long as they don’t represent more than 25% of the farm’s product line. In addition to full time memberships, seasonal four-week memberships are also available. Spaces are limited and priority will be given to products not already represented at market.

Continuing members please use the same application and mail (with no application fee) to the chair. Annual dues are set each year at the business meetings. Continuing member applications are due by the first winter meeting in January. Meetings are always the third Thursday of January, February and March.
New applications shall be reviewed during the February business meeting. Applications submitted by prospective members after that date shall be voted upon when the following criteria has been met:
sufficient space is available to allow an additional vendor
a review of the current products and application wait list has been accomplished
the prospective member has provided a presentation of his business (this may require a site inspection)
completed an interview with the Association membership
New members are provisional members until completion of their first market season and approval of the majority of members at the first preseason business meeting (the following winter). Provisional members have no voting rights.
